There's nothing better than live music.
Do you remember your first concert? Mine was Reba McEntire at Hershey Park Stadium back in the 90s. My mom won tickets from the local radio station (something she did regularly) and took me to the show with her. I was instantly hooked. The production. The bass and drums pounding in my chest. I hadn't experienced anything like it up until that moment.
In 2021 I was finally able to pair my love of live music and photography as I shot my first concert, Eggy and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, at Westville Music Bowl. Nothing can beat the rush of adrenaline as the house lights go down, the crowd erupts, and the band strikes their first chord.
I'm trying to shoot as many of the bands and musicians I've listened to over the years and proud of what I've done so far. It's a long list and I'm slowly chipping away at it.
